Alternatives to BB Passport

As I continue to work on getting past my Alpha testing phase for Android 9 on the Passport models, I am contemplating taking on another similar challenge, though this time on a phone that came with Android pre-installed.

Just like with the BB Passports, the memory chip is secure & encrypted so the only way to make this happen is to remove the original memory chip and replace it with a new & larger one.

Being that BB drivers for Android 8.1 Oreo already exist, this shouldn't take as long for me to get to Beta phase as it is taking me with the BB OS10 based Passports hardware.

Again, we will be using Open-source software (OSS) that is released under license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to use, study, change, and distribute the software and its source code to anyone and for any purpose.

Well, it seems that about 2 out of 3 of you chose the Priv over the other options.

Because the donations request page only generated (3) donors for a total of $60 USD, I refunded the monies back to them and will consider funding this on my own once I make conclusive progress on my primary project.

For the three of you who donated, thank you!

I will keep you in mind if and when I make this task a reality.
